The Hype Theory are a rock band based in Chelmsford, Essex. Their blend of pop rock tunes has taken them to the biggest UK festivals including Download, T in the Park, Underage, Hevy and Sonisphere. 2013 will see the band perform at Warped Tour in November. The band formed in the summer of 2010 after lead vocalist Katy Jackson and Guitarist Sean Bishop spent a year of experimental writing together at college.
