Get in touch with whoever you booked with straight away – they can usually arrange replacements. Sadly, there’s not much the venue can do, though.
Provided the show is not sold out, you'll be able to buy tickets on the door.
Our preferred ticket vendor is alt. tickets but we have tickets on sale via most major ticketing vendors. We wouldn't advise purchasing through secondary ticketing sites such as Viagogo or Stubhub.
We don't sell any tickets at the venue. All ticket sales are now online, however for some of our shows you can get tickets from Bristol Ticket Shop. Please check with your ticket provider for place of purchase.
If the show is still months in advance this is normal and you don't need to worry. If there are 5 or less days until the show please get in touch with your ticketing provider and let them know! They will either send out a new ticket or put you on a collections list at the venue for when the doors open on the night of the show.
Please contact your point of purchase and they will be able to advice you through the process. Once done they will either send you an extra ticket or add your companion ticket to our guest list.
Be nice and don’t do anything stupid, basically. We reserve the right to refuse admission without a reason, so if you appear drunk or behave inappropriately in the queue, we might refuse you entry without a refund.
Most shows will have some form of strobe lighting. If you have any concerns or questions on a particular show then please get in touch and we'll be happy to assist where we can.
At Thekla we pride ourselves on creating a fun and safe environment for everyone who attends any of our gigs or club nights.
We have well-trained staff in place for all nights, who will be happy to help with any concerns. If there's anything you're worried about then please don't hesitate to come and talk to us and we'll do our best to assist you.
Our security teams will conduct bag searches on entry, please assist them by bringing only what is needed.
For the safety of all customers and staff we have CCTV in operation.
For most concerts it's either 10pm or 11pm depending on the night of the week. Club nights finish between 3 or 4am if not otherwise stated.

Unfortunately to enter the venue you must be 18 years of age on the day the event started.
We accept Driving License (including provisional licenses), Passports and Pass UK Approved ID.
Most of our events are 14+, however if a gig is 18+ this will be stated on the website listing or the ticket.
We have a great selection of club nights every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10pm - 4am as well as on Wednesdays during term time.
Please note last entry for club nights is 1.30/2am depending on the event.
