Saint Raymond first came to prominence with his debut EP Escapade in 2013, which reached the Top 3 in the iTunes chart, along with his two 2014 EPs, Young Blood and Ghosts.
His debut album Young Blood reached the UK Top 10 upon release in 2015. It achieved great praise from the broadsheets and indie tastemakers, while also receiving strong support from Radio 1. Zane Lowe was a big fan of Saint Raymond at the station, featuring him as his ‘Hottest Record In The World’ and inviting him to perform a Maida Vale session.
In 2017 he returned with the release of the A Light That Blinds EP on Never Fade Records. The EP clocked up millions of plays on Spotify and its singles ‘Nightcrawling’ and ‘We Are Fire’ achieved strong Radio 1 support.
Saint Raymond’s feel-good indie anthems have also captivated arenas, where he supported Ed Sheeran throughout the UK and Europe in 2014. He’s also played with the likes of HAIM and Jake Bugg on major tours throughout the country.

Saint Raymond, AKA 18-year-old Nottingham-born Callum Burrows, confirmed today details of his biggest UK tour to date, covering 10 dates across the country and kicking off in Bristol on 19th March 2014. Saint Raymond is quickly becoming one of the hottest tips for 2014, after his new single ‘Young Blood’ was Zane Lowe’s ‘Hottest Record in the World’ (Radio 1), and he secured the sole support slot for Haim’s sold-out UK and European tour. 2014 will kick off with the release of his ‘Young Blood’ EP which is out digitally and on 7” vinyl on January 5ththrough National Anthem (the label responsible for launching Haim, Chvrches and The Orwells to name a few). Callum commented: I can’t wait to get back out on a headline tour in the Spring and have a greater selection of material to play. My second EP, Young Blood will be out by then so it will be great to be able to showcase the songs to a live audience. 2013 has been one rollercoaster year for Saint Raymond. His self-penned, independently released debut ‘Escapade EP’ shot up the iTunes album chart upon release in May with lead track ‘Fall At Your Feet’ promoted as iTunes Single of the Week. Soon after Saint Raymond inked a deal with Asylum Records (Rudimental, Charli XCX, Ed Sheeran) and went on a busy festival run taking in Dot To Dot, Goldcoast, Barn On The Farm, Splendour, Secret Garden Party, Y Not Festival and Reading and Leeds performing on the BBC Introducing Stage. In October he completed his first UK headline tour with his band, including an outstanding sold-out show at London’s Barfly and further sold-out shows in Bristol, Manchester and Nottingham. Saint Raymond is a name on the lips of many new music champions including;Zane Lowe and Dean Jackson within BBC Radio who have given multiple plays for two of his EP tracks ‘Fall At Your Feet’ and ‘Letting Go’. The latter was added to the BBC Introducing playlist in August, and further support has come from Absolute Radio and XFM.

The music can be just as sentimental as the theme however, as ‘This Town’ exemplifies with the beauty of the strums beneath it’s thought-provoking lyric – ‘you will never know what it feels like to be alive’. These are words that get you thinking whilst you sing along. Callum brings together the abstract and the tangible beautifully – plenty to get your mind working, but more than enough to keep it occupied with relatability as well. Another juxtaposition that he implements perfectly is the ability to pen a song that feels like it could be a massive success, whilst still feeling like it’s a tune written by a young guy in his bedroom – there is something homely about the music that doesn’t sound pretentious or like it’s trying to be something it isn’t.
