Room 94

Based in the North London suburbs, four-piece Room 94 emulated the sound of chart-friendly pop/rockers Busted and McFly, while adding influences from the likes of Lawson, All-Time Low, and Emblem3 to their youthful sound. The quartet formed at school in 2007 when brothers Kieran (vocals), Dean (drums/vocals), and Sean Lemon (guitar) were joined by long-term friend Kit Tanton on bass, and after spending time practicing in room 94 — which later became their band name — they began to play live shows at local venues and built up a substantial online fan base. They recorded their first self-titled EP in 2010 and two years later, Loud Noises was recorded with One Direction collaborators and production duo Red Triangle. During this time they joined Attack! Attack! on their European tour, and also played in Poland, where they were unexpectedly greeted by a group of rabid fans at the airport before they were police-escorted away to their hotel. 2013 proved a successful year for the band as they embarked on a U.K. headline tour, alongside support slots with Lawson and Union J, and entered the studio again with Red Triangle to record their debut full-length. Released in 2014, the album was preceded by the U.K. Top 40 single and title track “No Strings Attached.” ~ Scott Kerr

Following on from the success of their Top 40 Debut Album ‘No Strings Attached’ Room 94 are back and are bigger and bolder than ever. Their 2015 11-date UK tour will start in Oxford on the 28th of February and run up until they play London’s O2 Academy Islington on the 13th March.

Lead track ‘Dirty Dancing’ sees the band take it back to their guitar driven roots but with an added RnB twist. You only have to see the accompanying music video to see the direction the band is heading. Set against a dark backdrop the video features an intense performance from the band whilst a pole dancer performs some high flying acrobatics, the video is sure to set pulses racing.

The track is available as a free download via www.room94.co.uk.

The album is scheduled to drop early 2015 with ‘The Dirty Dancing’ tour starting late February. Fans new and old can expect this to be the most exciting tour yet, armed with a catalogue of new songs, along with old favourites it’s shaping up to be a tour not to be missed.
