Bringing her brand new album ‘Rachel@Fairyland’, Rae Morris comes to Thekla brings a vast collection of comforting melodies over a dreamlike production. Recorded with her partner through the time they welcomed their first child – the album presents itself as a refreshment on something firm. Titled after the singer’s teenage MSN handle, there’s a further sense on perspective of the past – a move to developing yourself and those around you. The new album is labelled by the artist as a concept album about the North, and her hailing from Blackpool – unapologetically rose-tinted written and recorded from her recent move to Primrose Hill.
