Statement from the band:
As anyone who has been to a China Crisis show can tell you, there can be no doubt that Gary and Eddie (and the rest of the band) love little more than performing for their audiences.
Unfortunately, due to a recent rather serious illness, it’s become necessary pause the band’s touring for about six weeks to allow one of the band members to recover fully and allow the rest of the year’s dates to go on as planned.
It’s important to all of us to deliver every show to you with same level of energy, humour and musicianship that have become the hallmark of China Crisis shows, and that requires everyone’s health in top form, which we know everyone can appreciate.
The band wish to thank all of you who have bought tickets for this show, and also wish to express our gratitude to Bristol Thekla for making this new date available for us to perform for you possible.
We do hope that you can all still come along as we truly want to see everyone there – it’s your support that keeps the band loving being out on tour. Meanwhile, stay well yourselves, and we hope to see you all soon. Cheers. -Gary and Ed
