Be Your Own Pet headline Thekla, Bristol on Wednesday 23rd of August 2023. Hailing from Nashville, Tennesee the garage rock band blazed a trail throughout the mid-2000s, but soon split under the pressure of the industry. Fourteen years later, they return to a new generation of fans. The Scott Pilgrim inspiring band – originally pencilled to write the music for the movie, as well as frontwoman Jemima to star before their untimely break-up – are now on a run supporting Jack White in the States, and the doors left open for them from the legacy they left behind are never ending. Now, the iconic group come to the UK and headline Thekla this August.
