Legendary DJ JYOTY brings a one of a kind live set to Thekla Bristol as part of the Hot Mess Express tour.
Known as Saturday’s voice of Rinse FM for the past six years, Jyoty’s distinct skills as a selector has earned the Amsterdam born DJ international acclaim and followings. Quickly rising to be one of the most beloved figures in the DJ scene – from her introduction to the world via hosting shows for Boiler Room. Quickly finding herself in a regular slot with Rinse FM, her keen ear for discovering new music and her raw ability to connect with guests saw her following shoot through the roof.
Outside of playing festivals and club nights all over the gaff, NYC, Barcelona, and more – she finds herself using the platform she’s earned to give back to communities she holds dear. Hosting workshops in Calcutta with the British council – and teaching courses to young British Asian women trying to break into the industry.
