STEVIE PARKER

There’s been a fair bit of buzz surrounding Stevie Parker; so much so that her projected fame is well on track to becoming a reality. Her more recently released track, ‘Stay’ has gained instant popularity, featuring amongst the BBC Introducing in the West videos, and March 2016 saw her supporting electronic pop star, Låpsley at a packed out show at the Trinity.

Parker’s been in the music game for a few years now and after much touring around the Southwest in the run up to festival season, she comes to Dot to Dot offering up another dreamy bowl of introspective ambient pop.

Likened to London Grammar, Parker’s sound is a stirring combination of Daughter, Bat For Lashes and The XX.  She’s recently revealed that Nerina Pallot has been a significant influence on her music - and Parker has taken nothing but the best from her inspirations and thus allowed her music to emanate very naturally. Parker’s set promises a chilled atmosphere and a good point of reflection. It will definitely be one worth seeing at Dot to Dot festival.
