If you are a surfer or a water sports enthusiast you will probably already know about the The Sea Level Tour, a new concept for live music fans, taking amazing singer songwriters on tour to surf and beach communities around the South West and South Coast of the UK and delivering them right into the heart of London.
Headlined by multi-award winning Australian blue icon Ash Grunwald. Ash last performed in the UK back in 2011 having played the cream of the South West's festivals such as Ocean Fest in Devon, Surf Relief at Watergate Bay, Boardmasters in Newquay and Beach Break Live in Wales. He has since been playing festivals all over Australia, Canada and Japan. The Sydney Morning Herald summation is simple; “Dreadlocked Singer Surfer Ash Grunwald is conquering the world with his infectious mix of blues and beats”. Fresh on the bill is songwriter and surfer, Matthew P. from Suffolk, England. Matt delivers a unique brand of acoustic folk pop. A troubadour in the true sense of the word, Matt’s songs come from the heart, about the experiences and people that make him stop, and think. Matt Lists Paul Simon, Neil Young, Elliot Smith, Frank Turner and many more as inspiration but maintains a unique style of his own. Also Miss Polly Money will be making her tour debut with a song writing ability that belies her 18 years, she is being touted as the next musical export from the South West to make the big time. Special Guests include songwriter and surfer, Ruarri Joseph who will be appearing at the Newquay date. Ruarri has received high critical acclaim for his songwriting and the video for "Till the luck runs dry" the latest single from his new album "Brother" has just hit 100,000 views. Last but not least fiery Kiwi band Melic will add their own brand of surf rock to the occasion as the Sea Level Tour hits London’s KOKO to celebrate TNT Magazines 30th Birthday. Guaranteed that with an audience of made up of southern hemisphere expatriates the party is going to a lively affair. The Sea Level Tour is a great evening out to enjoy outstanding live performances, from an incredible line up of artistes, at amazing venues. The singers and their songs are all inspired by the sea and coming to a venue near you very soon.
