OPENING TIMES

Gigs

Doors for gigs usually open at either 7 or 7.30pm with a curfew of 10 or 11pm. Be sure to check the listings page in case of any different timings, or give us a call at the venue. We also try to list stage times as often as we can on our Twitter.

Club Nights

On club nights, doors tend to open at 10pm with last entry at 2am unless the club is at capacity beforehand. Note that on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays, if you arrive at the bar before 10pm or you have come to see a gig, your entrance to the club night is completely free.

FACILITIES

There are two bars at the Thekla serving a range of alcoholic beverages as well as soft drinks. The boat is on three levels with designated bars and seating areas. We have a kitchen on the top deck which is open until 9.30pm at night and the bar is open for pre/after show drinks.

Other onsite facilities include a cloakroom charging £1.50 per item and a large heated outdoor deck where smoking is permitted all evening.

AGE RESTRICTIONS

At present, our license only allows people 18 and over on the boat. Please make sure that you have ID with you at all times when visiting us. Acceptable forms of ID are a valid Passport or UK Photo Driving License. There are occasions where we have ages 14 and over shows, these are listed on the gigs page with a "14+" note by the advance ticket price.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

The following is a list of our terms and conditions which apply to all our customers:

• For all Thekla shows you must be at least 18 and holding appropriate ID, unless stated otherwise.
• Management reserves the right to refuse admission, and customers may be subject to a search on entry.
• All tickets are non refundable unless a show is cancelled.
• The management can not be held responsible for lost or stolen tickets.
• We operate a zero tolerance to drugs; anyone found in possession of illegal substances will be ejected and reported to the Police.
• No alcohol or food to be brought into the premises.
• No professional recording equipment or cameras are allowed into the venue.
• Customers may be subject to continuous sound levels that can potentially damage hearing. Strobe lighting may also be used.
