Thekla: The Old Profanity

The top deck of the Thekla is home to our bar, The Old Profanity. Open all day long from 12 noon and serving some top food until late too, it's quite possibly the best spot on the waterfront to wind down with a beer and a sandwich. We also have our own jukebox playing everything from indie-pop to massive dance tunes depending on how the mood takes you.

The finest part of the top deck is our outside decking area. With plenty of tables and seating for everybody as well as a massive umbrella with patio heaters, it's the perfect place to have a bit of lunch in the sunshine or a sneaky cigarette in the rain.

KITCHEN

JUKEBOX

Our jukebox is an old AMi Continental jukebox, originally made in the US in the early sixties. It has been modified to take CDs instead of records, due to the demands of the modern age.
